Rosetta Sharp Coakley, seventy-eight years old, of Milan, Missouri, died December 21, 2018.
She was born January 1, 1940 in Milan, Missouri. Rosetta was the daughter of Walter Thomas and Josephine Pearl (Montgomery) Sharp. She married Roscoe David Coakley in Illinois and together they had one son; Scott David Coakley.
Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roscoe Coakley; one brother, Walter Earl Sharp. Rosetta is survived by two brothers; Billy Lee Sharp and David Eugene Sharp, one sister; Judy (Sharp) Wollenweber, and four grandchildren; David Coakley, Michael Coakley, James Howell, and Eddie Benson.
Rosetta was a high school graduate and a housewife. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milan. Rosetta moved around with her family a lot, traveling to places such as Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and West Virginia. She spent her remaining time in Milan, Missouri living in the country with her husband until his death. Rosetta then moved to the Da-Tah Apartments, finally returning to Ohio for a short period of time before passing away at the Milan Healthcare Facility in Missouri.
A family visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.on Sunday December 23,2018 at A Simplified Funeral Solution in Green Castle, Mo. A Service is scheduled to follow at 6:00 p.m.
